Welcome & thanks for visiting!

Hailing from the Midwest, singer/songwriter Lydia Brownfield honed her skills mostly in the south. Her influences range widely and her songs cross many genres, but find a comfortable spot among edgy folk/pop artists. Solo or with accompaniment, her songs are honest and poetic, and her pure and powerful voice has been compared to Alison Krauss, Sinéad O'Connor, Sheryl Crow and Ani Difranco.

Currently, Lydia is in the studio recording her 2nd Full Length album. You can hear the demo recordings below - for now.
