Welcome & thanks for visiting!
Hailing from the Midwest, singer/songwriter Lydia Brownfield honed her skills mostly in the south. Her influences range widely and her songs cross many genres, but find a comfortable spot among edgy folk/pop artists. Solo or with accompaniment, her songs are honest and poetic, and her pure and powerful voice has been compared to Alison Krauss, Sinéad O'Connor, Sheryl Crow and Ani Difranco.
Jeff Dalrymple and Lydia Brownfield are very excited to play a final performance on Saturday, October 3 at Dalton Union Winery! This will be the last show of 2020 for the duo. See information below.
Look for Lydia & Jeff, plus the full band, in the spring and summer of 2021 in support of Brownfield's new album release!

“Imagine a grown-up Exene Cervenka meeting an edgier and less ambiguous Stevie Nicks, with some McCartney melodicism and Pete Townshend angst thrown in, and you’ve got Lydia Brownfield.”
— Rick Moore, Music News-Nashville
“...Beneath a placid façade, Brownfield’s music rages...”
— Andy Downing, Columbus Alive
